autumn bracelet

All of the 2007 classes were very well received--and very well attended. Thank you, thank you!

This class project was a huge hit--I ran out of supplies and suppliers for some of the beads before I ran out of people who wanted to take the class. Some beaders used the idea and modified it--I recall one version in particular that used pink and brown beads and turned out beautifully!

I was doing some decorating around the house last evening, and put together and fun and easy combination that looks nice on a countertop or table. I took a wire basket, some artificial greenery branches and a string of white lights. The greenery went into the basket with the lights casually woven throughout the greens. I put a pretty ribbon bow on the basket handle. It's pretty with or without the lights on. Safety note: The wire basket was used because I thought a wicker basket would get too hot with the lights in it.

There are several new colors of seed beads again--and several of them go nicely with the last batch of new seed beads that arrived. Please stop in and check them out.
